Management Bios:

scott kaplanScott Kaplan, Chief Executive Officer and Head of Trading for JNK Securities Corp is a graduate of Pace University. Mr. Kaplan joined JNK Securities in 1994. Prior to being employed at JNK Securities Corp, he began his career in the financial services industry at Wertheim Schroder. He is an active Board Member of the charity, A Little Hope – which provides grief counseling and bereavement support services to children and teens that have experienced the loss of a parent or a loved one. Mr. Kaplan holds his series 7, 63 & 24.

williamsBill Williams, President and Head of 3rd Party Research at JNK Securities Corp is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining JNK, Mr. Williams was a Portfolio Manager for Eagle Asset Management, a subsidiary of Raymond James. He co-founded CQ Partners, a hedge fund which specialized in TMT. Mr. Williams also worked as an Institutional Sales Person at Soundview Financial Group and Morgan Stanley. He began his career in research at Prudential Securities where he focused on the Semiconductor and Semi-Capital equipment sectors. Mr. Williams holds his series 7, 63 and 24.

steve kaplanSteve Kaplan, Vice President and Head of NYSE Floor Trading for JNK Securities Corp is a graduate of Miami-Dade College. Mr. Kaplan began his extensive Financial Services career at Mesirow and Co. He helped found JNK Securities Corp in 1993 and has been a constant presence on the floor of the NYSE since that time. He is also an NYSE Floor Official. Mr. Kaplan holds his series 7, 63 & 24.

donald woodDonald Wood, Vice President of JNK Securities Corp and the Head of Institutional Sales has been with the Firm since 2007. He has been in Institutional Sales since 1995 at Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. He was an early employee and on the Management Committee of Majestic Research, which was sold to ITG in 2010. He is a graduate of Princeton University and holds an MBA from The Wharton School. charles readCharles Read, Chief Operating Officer, Treasurer and Head of Operations and Technology at JNK Securities Corp, has been with the Firm since 2001. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. Prior to working at JNK Securities, Mr. Read worked in the marketing group at Home Box Office in New York City. Jodi Karron HeitnerJodi Karron Heitner, Chief Compliance Officer at JNK Securities Corp. is an alumnus of the University of Maryland and St. Peter’s College. Prior to joining JNK Securities Ms. Heitner was the Chief Compliance Officer at Kaufman Bros., LP and Trade Manage Capital. Ms. Heitner has spoken at two FINRA Small Firm Conferences and an SEC CCO Outreach Program. Ms. Heitner holds her series 7, 14, 24, 63 & 87.

coming soonGrace Aslanian joined JNK Securities as a Trader and eventually become a part of the Institutional Sales team. Prior to her tenure at JNK, she worked as the Vice President of Investments at Smith Barney Citigroup and as the Director of Investments for the Middle Markets Group at CIBC Oppenheimer. Ms. Aslanian is an alumnus of Marietta College, and she currently holds his series 7 & 63.

Bryan EarleyBryan Earley joined JNK Securities in March 2008 as a SVP, Institutional Sales. His career spans 11 years in the Securities Industry including Leerink Swann, StreetAccount LLC, Performance Specialist Group (NYSE) and Morgan Stanley. He previously worked in Client Service/Sales roles for Regent Investor Services (div. of Alliance Capital), Lazard Asset Management and S&P’s Vista Research. Michael RussottiMichael Russotti began his career at JNK Securities in 2007 and works closely with the Head of Institutional Sales and 3rd Party Research. Mark SmaldonMark Smaldon joined JNK Securities as an Institutional Research Salesperson after 4 years at Pali Capital. At Pali, he spent 3 years working in equity research covering Media & Cable before moving into research sales. Prior to Pali, he had 8 years of equity research experience within TMT sectors with roles at Bank of America, Galleon Group and Prudential. Mr. Smaldon graduated from the University of Vermont. Mr. Smaldon holds his series 7 & 63.

Brian StollarBrian Stollar joined JNK Securities in October of 2010. Previously, Mr. Stollar spent over 10 years as a senior institutional salesperson at both Cowen & Company and Broadpoint Amtech focusing on key mutual and hedge fund clients in the Tri-state area. Prior to Wall Street, Mr. Stollar spent over 10 years in business development focusing on the sales of health care technology and drug development services. In addition, He is an alumnus of Rutgers University. Mr. Stollar holds his series 7 & 63.

JNK_PeteEdelsonPeter Edelson began his Wall Street career at JNK on the NYSE in 1997 and worked with the firm for 3 years. He went on to become Head Listed Trader for the Spear, Leads, & Kellogg division of Goldman Sachs before returning to the NYSE for several successful years as an institutional sales trader and floor broker. A graduate of George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science, Peter eagerly rejoined the JNK team in 2011. Peter has his Series 7, 63, and 55.

Adam BlumenfeldAdam Blumenfeld started in the financial business as a retail broker for Gaines Berland. In 1998 he started with JNK Securities as a sales trader on the Floor of the NYSE. He attended Kingsborough Community College and proceeded to attend The New York Restaurant Culinary School. Mr. Blumenfeld holds his series 7, 63, 55 & 24.

James J. FioreJames J. Fiore, serves as head of Trading. Prior to joining the JNK team, he was a partner for a NYSE direct access firm, The Griswold Company, and also worked as a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. Albert LandstromAlbert Landstrom has been with JNK Securities since 2007 as a Trader and Institutional Salesperson. A graduate of Wagner College, Mr. Landstrom’s career in the financial services industry spans over 30 years. He began by working on the Floor of the NYSE for Smith Barney, then moving into their block trading equity desk and eventually became the Head Trader of the Middle Markets Group at Kidder Peabody/Paine Webber. He also worked as a trader for Sage Asset Management and then in Institutional sales and Trading for the GFI Group and Blue Line Capital. Mr. Landstrom holds his series 7, 55 & 63.

John PaninJohn Panin joined JNK Securities in October of 1998 as a Floor Broker on the NYSE. He previously worked on the NYSE as a sales trader for Stephen V. Josh PaulsonJosh Paulson serves as head of Operations. He is responsible for making sure the Firm operates smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. This includes proper allocation and booking of all trades, risk management, business intelligence analytics and technology implementation and support. He is a graduate of Hamilton College.
